Lessons on Utilizing Social Media for Justice

The Lydia Lerma Foundation provides online workshops on utilizing social media for justice.​​​​​​​ Email info@lydialerma.com if interested in scheduling a training session, otherwise, stay tuned for scheduling.

Fugitive Recovery

The Lydia Lerma Foundation works with private investigators, fugitive recovery teams, and law enforcement to track down and apprehend suspected pedophiles and sexual abusers. All arrests are handled by law enforcement or legally licensed personnel.

Outdoor Adventures

The Lydia Lerma Foundation partners with Outfitters and Guides to host outdoor adventures for survivors and their families to experience healing through the outdoors and equine therapy.

Higher Education

The Lydia Lerma Foundation encourages everyone to pursue higher education and provides the following scholarships:

Lydia Lerma Scholarship – This scholarship is open to first-generation students that have been accepted into a 2-year or 4-year accredited community college or university and show leadership potential, including community activism, social justice, or professional leadership. No minimum GPA required if the student has been accepted into an accredited community college or university, even if acceptance has been based upon probationary, provisional, or conditional terms.

Beautiful Wanda Scholarship – This scholarship is available to anyone who has ever been a ward of the state within the foster care system and wants to pursue a 2-year or 4-year degree at any accredited community college or university in the Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) fields of study.

Jones – Perez Scholarship – This scholarship, named after the two FBI Agents who arrested and transported Vanderwal back to the U.S. to face justice, is available to a person of color (Native American, Asian, African American, and/or Latino/Hispanic) pursuing higher education at a 2-year or 4-year accredited community college or university in the field of legal justice/law enforcement.

To Be Named – This scholarship is available to anyone within the LGBTQ community and LGBTQ allies pursuing higher education at a 2-year or 4-year accredited community college or university.

Boulderpatty Scholarship (Patricia Jean Rivera) – This scholarship is available to anyone pursuing higher education in whatever field they choose to study at an accredited 2-year or 4-year community college or university.

​

Federico Pacheco Scholarship – This scholarship is available to a Longs Peak Council Pack 198 Eagle Scout pursuing higher education at an accredited 2-year or 4-year community college or university.

​

Scholarships are available for use toward training or certification within the trades - mechanic, plumber, hairdresser/barber, electrician, etc. 

Survivors Fund

This fund has been established to assist survivors in whatever capacity is needed throughout their lifetime. Requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
